aramos93 welcome to Detective forums.

The release of personal information based on a vehicle license plate is restricted by State and Federal law.
Read the site for additional information and exceptions.

Below find URL for Texas Department of Transportation - DMV online.

I trust you read the release of personal information section of the Texas DMV site. As you now know contacting a driver who hit your car and drove away does not qualify for the release of personal information. However DMV is required by law to disclose personal information if you certify the information will be used for a lawful, legitimate purpose.

I hope you can understand one of the problems with forums is we don’t know who on the other side of the Internet nor their agenda and would expect an investigator or information broker to comply with the law as it relates releasing DMV information. I assume you have reasons for not involving law enforcement or insurance and suggest you contact Texas Department of transportation for further information and direction..

The car accident happens in Mexico, but the car is from Texas, The law enforcement on Texas told me they can't do nothing because the accident was in Mexico, and the insurance said they will charge me because I submit the claim on my insurance not on him. The Mexico Law does not have access to US plates. That is my dilemma.

Thanks for you help!

You didn’t mention Mexico before; in any case you’re not going to find free restricted TDOT –DMV records on line. Depending on the amount of $$$ involved perhaps a consultation with an attorney or license private investigator is in order.

Sorry I wasn’t able to help due legal and liability issues concerning restricted information.

I agree!! You just never know who is on the other end of the computer or what the intentions are once they get sensitive information. I don't see why law enforcement can't handle this situation based on the information provided.

mikeellis welcome to the forums.

You state you signed up for a detective member to find the address of a license plate you spotted. This is a free site where members can share information on how to access various types of public records and I don’t know of any free public record site that offers this information. If this person committed a crime why don’t you contact the authorities?
If you arrived to this site via an investigational site that charges a fee, please be advised that we are not affiliated with them and you should contact the site in question to resolve any issues or concerns

thank you watchmen for your reply. I did sign up for a paid site. The "detective forum" was a link from that site - it stated "if you can't find what you are looking for, go to detective forums" So, you are affiliated with another paid site - Detective Members Area. Mike

Thanks for the heads up, I don’t frequent pay sites nor am I personally affiliated with any of them.
Nevertheless I find it interesting that a fee site unable to provide information refers their clients to a free site.

I have found by using the internet and a phone I can locate any public record I need.

Thanks again

Yes I did the same thing.... I signed up for a supposedly paid for life site.... and that I could get all my searches for free for life.... come to find out that only some of their searches are free for life.... others take "credits" that you have to pay for.... and if you can't find your searches... they have a link to this forum at the bottom.....
