background check on EX PLEASE HELP

Hi I am going through a big court battle for custody of my 16 Y/O daughter. I joined this site thinking i could do a background check on my x wife. No luck. PLEASE ADVISE.

Keep in mind Detective forums is a free site where members can share information on how to access various types of public records and occasional investigative tips. There are numerous free public search sites posted throughout the forum as well as prior post by members, try using the Forum search tool located below this post in my signature block.

After searching if you still need assistance please rephrase your question leaving out personal identifiers such as names, date of birth, address, phone numbers etc. It would be helpful if you post the country, if in the U.S. the State and County if known and hopefully a member can direct you in the right direction. For example “how do I find a criminal record for an adult in Harrison County Texas”.

You mention your going through a “Big Court Battle”. I trust you're not “Pro Se, (Representing yourself in court without an attorney). Nevertheless, it helps to have an experienced licensed investigator build a case. A computer check is not going to tell you what’s in her garbage i.e. excessive empty liquor bottles etc., unusual or unsavory visitors or a life style not in the best interest of your daughter – I think you get the picture.

If you hire a P.I ask if he is capable of obtaining records. A P.I can subscribe to legal databases which can provide his office with the types of records which you seek. Make sure he is a lisenced P.I Harry123

This sounds rather simple but I would call her teacher/guidance counselor (if you live nearby or a phone call if not) and set up an appointment to discuss her academic performance. Even if she is doing well you can say that she's living with her mom and that you just want to keep in the loop and be kept abreast of her school performance. You might find out about any changes in marks, behavior etc. which might indicate problems at home. You can ask them to let you know if any problems surface.

There are several sites that allow you to purchase background checks for a reasonable fee, and it's delivered to your computer instantly. You can just search for background check. I tried to find background checks, phone numbers, and addresses online for free without much luck.
