i have a court case and received a court appointed attorney.
the next day i was called and given another atty. after calling her
twice, she rudely backed out of my court appointed case. i went again before the judge and received another, who on the day of court stepped away from my case (conflict of interest) i have now , an attorney who is the ex-prosecutor from the town i live in. how do i find out what the common ground is for these attorneys. if they all go to the same church,
for instance where would i look?

Texas right?
Let’s see, they belong to the same State Bar, defense attorneys working the same court, a likelihood of knowing one another professionally and or socially.
Court appointed attorneys are paid a very low fee by the court however none of this should be a factor in having proper representation. There very well may be a conflict considering schedules / clients. I would not hesitate having an ex prosecutor as court appointed council. Court Officers have a right to have a life away from the job; I don’t see how this would help your situation.
Out of curiosity is your case one that will go to trial?

Nevertheless feel free to look around the forum, read post by other members and add to ongoing threads

I dont know if this will go to rial, I still dont know if this attorney will be able to take my case. I am so exhausted with worry, if the fines werent so high I would just pay them to have peace of mind.
