child location

Is it possible to locate a child by ssn as to which school she may be attending. My stepdaughter has taken child out of state to fl againist court order and we are trying to locate her and her physical address. thank you for your help

Trying to locate a child by SSN is a lot harder because there are very few records that would require the child's SSN.

If you have the stepdaughter's SSN, then you might be able to locate her via Florida public records

Why did she go to Florida? Does she have family and, or friends there to help her?

YES her parents came here and helped move her there. We have gotten criminal records on her family and have located their foreclosed home records, we have po boxes and she has been served with contempt of court papers at her lawyers office by the sheriff office, she sent a continuance letter and it was granted, with a order sent to her for us to pic child up for a weeks visitation this Sunday, however we feel certain that she will not show. we have searched many avenues to obtain a physical address which is current, with no luck and figure that finding child in school and following to address may be our only course of action to find her, any help would be appreciated as to other methods. She is only 5 years old and has lived in NC all her life. Her father has a false charge arrest by her and cant leave state. so we have not see child in over 6 wks even though we have made 2 trips to fl. to do that.

Hello jkcrepair Casman here. I am fairly new to this forum but I may be able to suggest some things. ( I am not a detective ) 1. Only work with the info that you know to be fact. Forclosure records may not mean she is in FL. Secondly her lawyer of record may not be actively working on the case. Who knows !!! When I search for someone I stick to the facts... Also you have found a great group of people that will help you.
Believe me when I tell you that some of them have very powerful X-RAY VISION!!! Mine is not nearly as strong as theirs !!! Do you plan to go to Florida this weekend again !!

We do know for a fact that she is in fl. we do know for fact house has been foreclosed. Our lawyer has talked on the phone to her lawyer and she has been served court papers by the county sheriff.

Well jkcrepair if it were me I would find out from the neighbors where she is. ( forclosed home ) certainly the neighbors of her parents know where they are. At least one of them.. Also I would be willing to g-a-m-b-l-e that they didn't go that far away. There are millions of reasons for forclosure. ( not always bad ) Now remember I am not a detetective or a p.i. but I do know how to find people!! Here is a simple first step!!!
Go to white pages .com and conduct an address neighbor search.
Contact all the neighbors that you can and you will probably score what you need!! Whatever story you tell them is up to you. It is not always easy getting info from people that don't know you. Now put together what you found from everyone you contacted. If you don't allready have the info and take from it only what you know to be facts!! and in this case
what you believe !! Then run that info through the same place you got the criminal records on them and that should work!!!

Let me know I have a few more ideas if need be!!

Oop's I forgot !!! This website is full of public info. So try to think that way as you approach this issue. Because you will likely not find private records here. But as a word of hope you can most likely end this search going through the back door. Easily !!!

This is not like searching for someone that you don't know their name!!!

Let me add this little tidbit about PO boxes that I have discovered.

When a person lives in an area that has more than one branch of the post office, they usually choose the one that's closest to either where they live or where they work. They usually choose one that is only blocks from where they live or work so they wouldn't have to travel far to pick up their mail.

But there is one exception:

If they are trying to stay hidden, they will choose a branch that is far from their home or in a neighboring town if there is only one post office in their town.

Try the site below. You can search her name on pipl, try variations of her name, and any social web page she has, myspace etc, may turn up. Search her name on Pipl in NC and FL. If she set up here account while living in NC that's where you will likely find it, but check both states. People really do put all their personal plans on the web, and she is sharing info with friends. If she set her page to private, try to find a cache copy before that was done. Copy her friends list, these are people she is sharing info with and check their pages to see what she is posting to them. Check her parents names as well and see what comes up. Florida is called the sunshine state for more than simple sunshine. Public records may come up on pipl as well. I think people can stay in a home for a period of time after foreclosure, but I am not certain. They may still be living there. Do not reveal any information you get to her, play dumb and let her stay or get comfortable where she is. You want to keep her where you can find her.
