After hearing about Farrah's death this morning, I can still remember ( rather fondly ) the infamous swimsuit poster of her. In fact, I had one taped to the ceiling over my bed ( low ceiling, top bunk in the bunk beds) so I could be close to the "Angel".

As for Michael Jackson, I liked him yet I didn't like him. His death didn't really surprise me for some reason tonight. I don't know why. I guess part of it is that we both grew up in the same religion ( Jehovah's Witnesses ) and I know that many former JWs ended up with several mental issues, me included.
They are saying it's because of prescription medication that caised him to go into cardiac arrest. I'm wondering if it might have really been suicide.

I'll raise a glass in rememberance of the contribution they both gave to society. Farrah for causing raging testosterone in young men and Michael for his music.

Well guys,

As you might expect I did not have Farrah's poster taped to my ceiling. I don't consider her to be one of life's most talented people but I hope she is at peace.

Michael, to me, was a tortured genius - not all that uncommon. I think he had certain unsavory proclivities (who knows the reality of his life) but I think he was a soul not meant to be here at this time.

I hope that they are both at peace. It must be difficult to die as the world watches...

Do you foresee any legal ramifications or admissibility problems in criminal proceedings once a cadaver has been released and no longer under the jurisdiction of the County Medical Examiner if a second post-mortem examination contradicts the original

RM, JL & Bullet any thoughts as to why MJ’s personal physicians vehicle was impounded and why he retained an attorney? 4my, any medical speculation?

This has already become a media circus. As per news story estimates, MJ’s estate is worth about 1 billion and the potential of surpassing Elvis $$$ this will no doubt be tied up in the court systems for years to come.

Since MJ's death may have been contributed to prescription medications, the personal physician's car may have been impounded because of other prescription medications that were allegedly found within.

Since I have no idea for what medical condition he was been medicated for, it would be hard for me to say other than a possible reaction between two or more drugs that lead to a side effect of cardiac arrest. Or the possiblity of a bodily reaction to a possible high dosage of a medication?

Is this another possible Anna Nicole-type case?

It may be the reason the physician retained a lawyer, because of the possiblity of accidently causing the death of Michael Jackson.

I would like to see the actual autopsy report to see the cause of death instead of relying on the media for the reason of his death. The media has a tendency to spread more speculations than actual facts.

If the doctor did not have Naloxone/Narcan on hand then he should have called 911 as every E.M.S. VEHICLE PARTICULARLY IN CALI. Judging by the public info I have a few thoughts:

If MJ were 112 pounds he obviously was not sufficiently eating or drinking - this would cause an abnormal Potassium (P) level (too high or too low in the blood). P is necessary for the nerve conduction which allows the heart to function properly, therefore, an abnormal P level alone could result in cardiac arrest.

If you remember, he went to his trial in PJ's because of a back problem. He could have been being treated for that with painkillers which he subsequently became addicted to. They are saying that the Dr did not prescribe/administer these drugs. They are very strict in the US about monitoring controlled substances so the DR's name on the script would be filed in several places. You cannot order narcotics across state lines without a hard copy of the prescription so maybe they were illegal.

Anyone in MJ's condition obviously should have been hospitalized or fully equipped at home for any emergency. There was no mention of nurses, emergency equipment, EKG machines, respirators etc. How could a DR and his family watch him deteriorate to that extent and then be surprised that he died?

Narcan in an antidote for narcotic overdose. Why would a personal Dr have narcan if he wasn't prescribing any narcotics. Even if he didn't prescribe them obviously he knew about them and failed to do anything about it. Anyone in that condition would manifest mental abnormalities (which he probably had anyway) in which case you can get 2 psychiatrists to assess his mental status and have him hospitalized against his will if he refused to go (in NY anyway).

On the 911 call the person told the caller to put him on the floor to do CPR- a doctor should know that (more effective resistance when on a hard surface). In such a compromised condition he could have died from anything.

I have a few more thoughts but I have no time now...
