how do i find information about a baby that was born in my family between 1915-1922 , the baby was born in Peabody ma, At a midwife home that no longer exists, I do not know the baby's name? what i do know is that my grandmother showed me a 50 dollar receit for the child , she was told many hours after the birth that the child had died as of the result of the belly button had been cut to short and that the baby bled to death. she was 15yrs old at the time, had no idea where the childs grave was, my grandfather married her the next day after the birth, she was not allowed to attend the funeral and never spoke about the child until her late 70s when she asked me to find the child , she has passed on and i am still searching to keep my promise to her. i had lost over time the exact dates she had given but there has to be some way to find this child if buried at all? given the facts? where do start again, ive tried the grave yard where most my family is now, i am completely lost, please tell me where i can start to find this child?
