I got a 1963 car as part of trade. The guy gave me the wrong pink slip. The pink slip I have the DMV says it was reported lost. I have the guys, name number, address etc. He lives far away. When I signed up on this site, it was for the reverse vin number which is not a feature on the site. Can any one help. I want to know who the car is registered too. I have had it for over a year and and can't get anywhere. Thanks, James

Have you tried carfax.com ? Type in the vin and it'll give you the history of the vehicle, if it goes that far back.
It'll cost you approximately $20 to get all of the information if it's available.
