just to say if you are not happy with the sites that you are a member of complain to them

Not knowing the whole story or knowing what exactly was told to the police I would still like add my 2 cents. When you come right down to it is it a criminal or civil matter, if criminal it should be handled by Law Enforcement. Did the police in fact take a report and assign a case/event/log/dispatch etc. number? If so, follow up with the police department and become a squeaky wheel if need be.

Nevertheless, as Gary suggested check out lawmanconfidential and Investigator97 sites.

The subject matter involved an alleged vehicle theft, known suspect w/ph number, subsequent recovery, expressed displeasure with another site and police.
