What is a quick way to get a verification of naturalization for myself? I lost my naturalization papers while moving and was told that a new copy would cost $380.00 and 7 months for delivery. I was born in Toronto, Canada and have been a citizen since 1966, I have a driver's license, social security number, but that is not enough to my employer. If I cannot find a more efficient way to get a copy I will lose this job! Help!! |

Thank you for any help you can give me. I was at my "wits end" by the time I posted this. I guess I am just going down to USINCS in downtown L.A. tomorrow.....sigh! I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm taking everything I can with my name on it. Bills, drivers license, SSN, blah blah, I even found my Mother's naturalization papers from 44 years ago, but not mine. You can bet I will keep this next one in a safe place!! |

thank you, but I needed the US citizen verification. I'm from Toronto, Canada, but have been a citizen of US since 1966.
I can only request that my employer do an E-Verify for verification of citizenship, request of a waiver of fees, fill out the replacement document and hopefully I will have it in 30 dats. |
